The general objective of this Technical Cooperation is to contribute to food security, agricultural productivity and climate change mitigation, by supporting the governments of the region to: (i) improve the efficiency and effectiveness of agricultural policies by a more efficient allocation of resources in the agricultural and fisheries sectors, (ii) identify opportunities to reduce GHG emissions linked to agricultural policies; (iii) develop agricultural policies that strengthen the functioning of food systems, and reduce food insecurity.
