The IDB is looking for the most disruptive startups from Latin America and the Caribbean who are using innovation to improve lives, in the following categories of the creative and cultural industries:


Sustainable fashion, smart fashion, urban art, wearable technology.


Videogames, digital contents, audiovisual content, editorial, music 4.0, public art.


3D printing, blockchain, BloT, artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, augmented or virtual reality.


Export of services to global markets, production and commercialization of cultural contents, export of creative goods and services.


The 10 most disruptive startups from Latin America and the Caribbean will be selected. The winning startups will be invited to participate in Demand Solutions with all expenses paid for one representative per startup. At Demand Solutions, the 10 selected startups will compete for the following prize:

1st PLACE USD $25,000

Letters of Recommendation

Startups must present 2 letters of recommendation:
*The letters of recommendation may not be signed by relatives or members of the founders or co-founders
* Diplomas, invitations to events or letters of recommendation for other contests will be invalidated.
